For the first time in 2016, the International council of museums (ICOM) joins the Musées (em)portables Festival, with the creation of the Museum for all - ICOM Price. This price will reward audiovisual productions that stage the relationship between museums and people on the sideline from culture (people from the social sphere, disabled persons, new arrivals, rural population…) by proposing an original and sensitive look on this subject. The launch of the Museums for all - ICOM Price takes part in the action of ICOM for the opening of museums to all publics. The competition is open to individual people such as groups. The selected film will be extensively disseminated through the international networks of ICOM.

POST SCRIPTUM

We, at SITEM, we love "competition" especially when it's funny. For instance,

We, at SITEM, we do not pretend to be a trade-show for museum shops, you just have to see our list of exhibitors. Not a single company for museum shops !

However, we heard about a new trade-show for the equipment and enhancement of museums whose exhibitors are all and only providers for museum shops. What is there to understand !

To be continued!
